With a front approaching, Captains Mitch and Mike headed the Gulfstar out into a tumultuous Gulf of Mexico. Despite the cool, stiff breezes the bite started off and stayed on fire throughout the trip. The first day saw nonstop action with our anglers hitting Mangos, Gag and Red Grouper hard.  The night brought even more Mango action with a slaying of B-iners, Porgies, and more Red Grouper mixed in.  The outlawed Red Snapper and Gag Grouper were out in droves keeping our fishermen very busy without the reward but luckily they nailed a bunch of Banded Rudderfish, Bar Jacks, some Kingfish, Margate and Scamp Grouper to fill their coolers. The steady bite and the weather finally laying down made the trip a Great one for the books!

Happy Fishing!
