Capt. Dave and mates Devon and Larry set out into picture perfect weather and gorgeous seas, with their 24 passengers who were anxious to wet a hook. The fish bite was just as perfect and the weather was! Only having to anchor twice, Capt. Dave made short work of finding hungry fish. And after anchoring on the first spot he helped 7 year old Miss Gabbie, catch her VERY FIRST FISH. With great excitement and a little practice, she continued to catch fish all day, contributing to the whopping count of 185 Key West Snapper. Birthday Boy, Garrett, landed 1 of the 18 good sized Black Sea Bass hauled in on the Sundance 11. Devon and Larry stayed busy and were on the hustle as our passengers also wrangled up 16 Grass Porgies, 2 Jolthead Porgies, and 6 Sand Perch. “The fish were just on fire.” says our friends from the Viking Fleet of Montauk. All in all, it was a great day with LOTS of fish, and LOTS of memories that’ll last a life time.

Happiest birthday wishes to Garrett from the Sundance 11 crew.

Til next time,

Tight lines.
