Though the morning started out a little foggy, the sun quickly cleared the skies just in time for Capt. Jay to pilot the Sundance II and its 10 passengers into the beautiful flat calm waters of the Gulf. The bite was steady throughout the afternoon with our anglers wrangling in 12 dozen+ Key West Grunts, many of them jumbo sized, 40+ Black Sea Bass, bunches of Sand Perch, some Porgies and Gulf Flounder and disappointingly more Short Red and Gag Grouper. Here’s hoping the next cold front brings the keepers in closer!

Happy Fishing!
