The sold-out Gulfstar and Crew headed out into the steamy waters of Gulf and were greeted by 1-2 foot seas and fog. The sun finally cleared up the skies which also seemed to turn around what started out as a slow fishing morning. By late day our anglers had 15 nice sized keeper Gag Grouper to offset the many short Gag and Reds they had to throw back. To add insult to injury bunches of Red Snapper joined in on the bait eating feast knowing they were returning home too. More than 600 Key West Grunts were wrangled in to fill the coolers.

John R.’s Gag Grouper was the Jackpot Fish!

Happy Fishing!
