January was definitely a difficult month for us due to the weather , However we were able to end the month with a great middle grounds trip. Temperature was perfect, only having a little wind on the last night. Not to outdo the weather, the fishing was fantastic as well. Our anglers had generously stocked coolers to bring home. The trip kicked off early Saturday morning picking at, and then later in the day turned to a constant stream, of Vermillion, porgies, Red Grouper, and a few Amberjack. There where also some very nice sized but released Gag Grouper, and American Red Snapper. Saturday night into Sunday morning presented fisherman with abundant Mango and Vermillion Snapper, as well as a handful of nice Red Grouper and a few Kingfish.
