The past week of half day fishing has had its share of highlights. Captain James has been doing  a marvelous job at the helm. He as been working in depths of 28 to 44 feet of water. Captain Ron has also been working these trips as well as Mike on deck.

Fishing has been fairly decent. The fish are showing up plentiful on the bottom machine, but at times, it has been difficult to get them to bite.

Lots of “Grunt” or Grey Snapper have been boated. A few keeper Gags as well as some Red Grouper have also been caught. On one trip, our fisherman had a ball with a school of reef shark that were swimming by. Even a beautiful Cobia was caught and released. Some real nice size Porgies have also been showing up.

Both anchoring and drifting these areas have proved to be successful. It seems that the Gags are showing up in more numbers lately.

Hopefully a sign of more to come!
