Wow! This has been an awesome few days of fishing. The Grunts have been hungry, and fisherman have been busy. I was fortunate enough to join Captain James on Sunday’s trip. We were fishing in about forty feet of water and there was a lot of action. This has been about the same scenario through out this week.
There were many nice size Red Grouper, Porgies, and MONSTER Grunts (Grey Snapper) A six foot nurse shark was hooked and proved to bring much excitement on deck. Plenty of double headers were boated all around the boat.
As far as sightings go, a Green Sea Turtle was spotted this week and a family of dolphin have been making their usual visit jumping the wake of the Sundance II . Lots of nice fish, happy people and great times!
