Capt. James was at the helm of the Gulfstar and Capt. Paul had the wheel of the Sundance II with 30+ Veterans and their friends and family on each boat. The weather was breezy but the seas just had a light chop as they headed out to the fishing grounds. Both captains report steady fish pickin’ with 600+  Key West Grunts taking the bait and some Black Sea Bass, Gag Grouper and Sand Perch joined in to meet the Heroes and treat them to some well deserved wrangling. The day finished up with the VFW Honor Guard greeting our passengers as they disembarked the boat and shaking their hands in support of their service. Burgers, Dogs and Chicken were served to fill their bellies as they enjoyed the comradery and each other’s fish stories. Once again, we here at Gulfstar were humbled and honored to have been of service to Them for a day! We are and always will be Thankful to Live in the Land of the Free, because of the Brave!

Happy Veterans Day!
