The sold-out Sundance II with Capt. Jay at the wheel headed out to a choppy Gulf of Mexico under partly cloudy skies and a stiff breeze out of the Northeast. Thankfully, the winds laid down a little just in time for fishing, allowing our anglers some steady elbow bending action without having to fight a “rocking boat.” With more than 450 Key West Grunts, 60+ Black Sea Bass, Bunches of Porgies and Sand Perch, a lone Mangrove Snapper and the most short Red and Gag Grouper we’ve seen yet, not only were coolers full but no doubt there were some sore arms being iced up as well as the fish.

Happy Fishing!
