We departed at six AM and headed out through the North channel. The sunrise was breathtaking and it set the tone for the beautiful weather that we had the rest of the day.

After about three hours, we made the first stop in about sixty five feet of water. Fishing was on the slow side in the morning hours. We picked off some Gags here and there as the afternoon rolled around.

By mid day, the bite had come to life with lots of action. Gags were flying in the boat. Some too small, and some were beauties.

The Selbys were out today and both caught a couple of monsters. Little Bob even caught  a 22 inch Gag on VERY light and tiny tackle!

Greg limited out and was kept very busy with the throw backs.

We wrapped up the day in sixty eight feet of water. Some folks limited out while others did not. Our totals were thirty seven Gags and three Red grouper with lots of monster Grunt  in the mix.

This was a great trip with lots of fish and a fun bunch of fisherman.
