Bill Parsons of JNV Big Game Outfitters and his crew returned from their 8th annual charter aboard the Gulfstar. The weather was warm but comfortable and the seas were as smooth as glass. Throughout the whole trip anglers could not escape the stream of big Gags and Red Snapper, but the bite of legal fish was steady anyway. Night time fishing was much better than during the day but overall it was a great trip with lots of Mangos, Vermillion and Lane Snapper, Porgies, a few Scamp, Strawberry and Red Grouper and Alex Wright’s Black fin Tuna. The jackpot winners were Rand Sepplin for largest Mango and Smallest fish, Charlie Pryde with his Red Grouper, and Steve Hartley with the “one drop -longest fish” jackpot.
