Today we commissioned both the Sundance II and The Gulfstar for Half Day Fishing. There was definitely competition in the air between the two crews, with not only verbal jabs thrown back and forth but also a few bananas and the still highly debated “Fish Bucket Challenge”! While the Sundance II caught more fish as a whole, the Gulfstar came out ahead in Grouper action, albeit released, as they were undersize. Both boats did pretty well and most anglers took home a decent amount Key West Grunts, Black Sea Bass, Sand Perch, Porgies and even Octopus. It was a great day on the water and I hope to see another fun and entertaining “boat dueling” half day trip!
