The most picture perfect day was had on the Gulf of Mexico for this, the second annual trip to thank our Veterans for their service to our great nation. Everyone enjoyed calm seas and mostly sunny skies for this Patriotic get together. This year we were able to fill both the Sundance II and the Gulfstar Boats with these great citizens, making for an awesome day of fishing and camaraderie. After putting plenty of Key West Snapper, Porgies, Black Sea Bass and a few Spanish Mackerel on ice, our Angling Heroes returned to an honor guard reception followed by a raffle prize giveaway, blessing and a fantastic BBQ lunch. The air was filled with so much positivity and fellowship and I know they enjoyed their day as much as we enjoyed putting it together for them.
