Capt.’s Mitch and James reported great weather, calm seas and decent fishing overall. Friday night into Saturday morning started out with a slow pick of Mangos with a mix of Porgies and Vermillion snapper and a few nice size but out of season Gag Grouper. Saturday afternoon picked up some with more Porgies and Vermillion Snapper, a few nice Red Grouper and a handful of Mango Snapper. Saturday night into Sunday morning ended the trip on a high note with a much better Mango and Vermillion Snapper bite, some very nice Red Grouper, and a good amount of released Red Snapper and Gag Grouper. The pool winning fish were Dave Kwiatkowski’s Red Grouper and Terran Bells’ Mango Snapper.
