As Capt. Ron put it ”Spring is out in full force!” It was a beautiful ride out under sparkling blue skies and the turquoise water has been so crystal clear you can see nearly to the bottom! There are tons of fish around including many different migrating in with the warming waters. Three stops were made total, all of which yielded nice catches, but the first one was especially productive! It was one of the best first stops Capt. Ron has seen in some time, especially considering that we only went out with 8 people. Triggerfish and Spanish Mackerel were swimming around the boat and baskets being filled very quickly with Key West Snapper, Porgies and Sea Bass. As usual a couple Gag Grouper got a free meal and ride to the surface before being released back into the water. The day was filled with lots of laughs on the water and lots of fish to take home.
