Todays trip had a bumpy windy start, but laid down some in the afternoon. Winds can  sometimes create cloudy water conditions, as it did today, causing a very slow start to fishing, but the bigger better fish were still  finding hooks to bite. Capt. Jeff stayed out an extra hour today to give anglers more time to catch the larger than average Grunts,  Sea Bass as big as 14″,  Grass Porgies, and a few Sand Perch.   It was definitely a quality over quantity trip today.  This leads me to ask; would you rather catch a lot of smaller fish, or a few good sized quality fish on a half day trip? Let us know in the comments.

Happy Fishing!!
