Capt.’s Mitch and James reported clear skies, cool weather and rough seas this trip. As bumpy as it was, the bite was absolutely fantastic during the trips entirety. The twilight hours of Saturday started off with a steady pick of  Gags and Mangos and as the sun came up the trend continued with a few Porgies and Red Grouper mixed in. Saturday night into Sunday morning rounded out the trip with more Mangos, Gags, a good amount of Vermillion and Yellowtail Snapper and quite a few nice size Kingfish. The jackpot fish were John Leib’s Gag Grouper and David Durham’s Mango Snapper. These were some hardcore anglers; even after this trip of rather nautical proportions, they were smiling ear to ear!!

Fish On!!

Trish.
