Ultimate Deep Sea Fishing
The Golden Grounds Experience
Deep Sea Fishing Overview
🎣 The Golden Grounds Experience
There are fishing trips… and then there’s the Golden Grounds — a rare, high-octane offshore experience that stands alone as the crew’s favorite trip of the year. We only run a handful of these exclusive adventures each season, and every one becomes a legend.
These trips take you into the famous Middle Grounds and The Elbow, where the night bite ignites and the daylight deep-drop action puts even seasoned anglers to the test. When the sun sets, we fish the legendary Middle Grounds for aggressive mangrove snapper and muttons under the stars. When it rises, we move offshore into 250–400 feet of water for a mini deep-drop challenge targeting scamp, red grouper, tilefish, and other deep-water giants.
This isn’t a typical overnight trip — it’s an offshore marathon built for serious anglers who live for big fights, long drifts, and stories that last a lifetime. With limited spots (only 22 anglers), you’ll enjoy plenty of space, personalized attention, and the kind of camaraderie that makes every catch unforgettable.
Each trip is strategically planned around moon phases, currents, and feeding patterns to keep the action steady day and night. Add in hearty meals, comfortable bunks, and the best crew in the Gulf, and you’ve got the most rewarding deep-sea experience anywhere in Florida.
If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to fish like the pros — this is it.
The Golden Grounds Trip isn’t just fishing — it’s the adventure every serious angler should experience at least once.
🕒 Trip Overview
The Golden Grounds 2 Full Day Adventure departs at 12:00 PM (NOON), or earlier if everyone’s aboard).
After a 7-8 hour offshore run, the captain selects the first fishing grounds—typically in 100–160 feet of water—where the action begins and continues through the night.
As daylight breaks, we push farther offshore into 250–400 feet of water to target big game species like Red Snapper, Scamp, Kitty Mitchell, Champagne Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and Vermilion Snapper.
When the deep-water bite slows after dark, we head back inshore to the 100–160’ range for steady overnight action.
Fishing continues until just before or after sunrise, when we begin the run back to the dock.
🎣 Total Fishing Time: Approximately 36 hours of pure offshore action.
