🎣 Wrapping Up the 2025 Multi-Day Season with a Bang! 🌊

Tarpon Springs Deep Sea Fishing Report – October 2025

As the sun set on another incredible multi-day fishing season aboard the GulfStar Endurance, we couldn’t have asked for a better finale. The final trip of 2025 was one for the books — full coolers, happy fishermen, and plenty of stories that’ll be told all winter long.

Day 1 – The Warm-Up Bite

We kicked things off with a steady pick of Mutton and Mangrove Snapper, mixed in with some solid Red and Gag Grouper. The Gags were safely released (they’ll be waiting for us when the season reopens), but the Reds and Muttons gave everyone a solid workout.

The ocean was kind, the current manageable, and the fish were cooperating just enough to keep rods bending most of the day. As we worked our way offshore, the bite stayed consistent — the kind of day where every drop could turn into dinner.

Day 2 – The Night Lights Up

After a quick rest, it was time for the night shift — and the Gulf didn’t disappoint. Once the sun dipped below the horizon, the bite came alive.

Mangrove Snapper, Flag Yellowtail, Pink Porgies, and a few chunky Red Grouper kept the action rolling through the night. The deck lights glowed, laughter filled the air, and the sound of drags screaming mixed with the smell of fresh coffee and squid — pure offshore magic.

The night bite stayed hot until dawn, and by sunrise, the coolers were stacked and the crew was running on equal parts caffeine and adrenaline. It was the perfect way to close out a year of adventure, challenge, and success.

A Season to Remember

Every season on the GulfStar Endurance tells its own story — and 2025 was one of our best yet. From the Golden Grounds to Mutton Mountain, our anglers battled weather, tides, and tough fish — and came out smiling.

This final trip was the exclamation point at the end of a long, satisfying sentence. The teamwork, the laughs, and the moments when everyone on deck looked at each other and said, “This is why we do it” — that’s what makes it special.

Looking Ahead – Winter Trips Begin

With the multi-day season now wrapped, we’re shifting gears into our Winter Schedule. That means 12-Hour Day Trips, 12-Hour Night Trips, and a few ½-Day Adventures for those looking for a quick fishing fix.

Winter in the Gulf isn’t a slowdown — it’s just a different kind of action. Shorter runs, calmer seas (most days), and hungry fish like Hogfish, Silver Snapper, and Mangroves waiting to bite. We don’t fight Mother Nature this time of year — we work with her.

If you’ve been thinking about getting out this winter, now’s the time.
