Full moon fishing at its best. It was a rainy ride out with off and on showers. We were graced with two out of three Castellano brothers aboard with us. Captains Mitch and James were at the helm while Joann worked the galley and Ryan worked the deck

The crowd was light and everyone  fishing had a happy attitude. Marc Pagnozzi caught his first Mangrove Snapper this trip. Not only his first, but a cooler full! As a matter of fact, everyone went home with filled coolers loaded with Mangos, Scamp, Porgies, Vermillion Snapper, and some monster Grunt. Captain Mitch reported that the deepest areas he fished were at 120 feet.

Carlos was out with us too and he disappeared fast with his limited out coolers that were loaded to the top, There was also a giant Nurse Shark caught and Vinny C was happy with the Lionfish he hooked. He had high hopes of eating it because it is said that they are delicacy if cleaned in the proper manner.

In the end, Jim went home with the largest Snapper jackpot while Tim’s large size Gag made him the winner in the Grouper category.

“This could be summed up as another fantastic trip aboard the Gulfstar” commented one of the departing passengers. And I agree! 🙂
