This  twelve hour excursing was one of our tougher days of fishing. Captain Mitch was aboard  while Ryan and Mike worked the deck all while Joann’s roll was the Galley boss.

The weather was very nice to us throughout the day until the very end when some severe storms rolled in from East to West right as the Gulfstar hit the dock.

“Catching” today was on the slow side. Captain Mitch tried feverishly to get the fish to cooperate but finding them and boating them were just two different animals . He worked in depths of 50-60 feet of water,

The Grouper caught were very nice. It was a mix bag of both Red and Gag Grouper. Many Grunts and some Mangos were also part of the total catch.

Gregg took home the Jackpot with the largest Grouper.  The night wrapped up with some looming squalls as passengers waited for their fish to be cleaned.
