Capt.’s Mitch and Logan reported some nautical conditions mixed with windows of calm on this trip. Their first drop shortly before the sun came up on Saturday gave a slow pick of Mangos and Porgies. At sunrise they picked up and went further offshore and spent the day on a steady pick of more Porgies along with quite a few Vermillion Snappers and a handful of Gag and Red Grouper. Saturday night they moved a few miles north and the trip ended on a good note with a decent Mango stream before their bumpy ride home. The jackpot fish were Brent Edson’s Red Grouper and Mike Bavis’ Mango Snapper.
