Marty Grasso and his crew departed on their 4th annual charter aboard the Gulfstar. Capt.’s Mitch and James reported a hot weekend with slick calm seas. Friday night into early Saturday morning produced a decent Mango bite along with some Vermilions and a handful of Scamp and Red Grouper. After the sun came up they headed further offshore to deeper water were they limited out on Red Snapper and picked off some nice size Gag, Red, and Scamp Grouper. Their Last night ended the trip with a steady stream of Mangos, larger Vermilions and a few more Scamps along with Kyle Grasso and Gene Schaffers’ King Mackerels. The jackpot winning fish are as follows; Biggest Mango Snapper -Paul Edwards, Biggest Grouper -Ken Versichle, and Biggest edible fish -Marty Grasso with his 18lb Gag Grouper.
