11:00 AM was the departure time and the weather was a “typical” Florida winters day.

Well, at least as of late.  Sunny, blue skies and a light breeze. Perfect fishing weather.

Now, if only that water temperature would start rising. Fishing was on the slow side. The first two drops were very discouraging, But by the third and final stop. things finally livened up.

In thirty feet of water is where the Grunts were caught today. One after another, our fisherman slowly filled their stringers before it was time to return to the dock.

It managed to be a great day despite the slow bite. Everybody had rave reviews about the Captain and crew.  “they made this charter a fun day for us” said one passenger. and “we will definitely be back”
