This was one for the books. The weather was picture perfect ok, a bit hot but very calm seas.
There was plenty of action. The Mangos were flying in the boat and everyone got there limit on Red Snapper. There were many sizable Gag grouper, Red grouper, Porgies and huge Vermillion Snapper.
We had two newbies, Markus and Wai who drove from Atlanta to fish with us and they were not disappointed! “we will be back” they commented enthusiastically.
Depths fished were 120-170 feet. Many large fish were brought aboard and some lost as well. Bob broke his rod while fighting a monster.
Mark P. took home the 1st place jackpot while Mark D. got 2nd place.
The largest Mango prize went to Danny with his whopper snapper.
Everyone went home with plenty of fish. And all of our departing passengers were very satisfied with their experience, fishing AND service.
