Fishing was incredible this go around. Capt, Mitch was running the Gulfstar with Capt. James by his side.
They worked the area known as “The Missile Range”. Boated were some beautiful fish including both Gag & Red Grouper, giant Scamp,gorgeous Red Snapper, some sizable Vermillion or “B Liners”, Porgies, monster Mangrove Snapper. “Smitty” even capture a huge Grunt. The running joke was that the grunt was following Capt. James (our usual half day captain)
Dwayne got the double header jackpot with his whopper Gag and cash wining size Mangrove Snapper.
“fishing was incredible” “best crew on the West coast of Florida” these were a couple of comments I heard from passengers as we waited for the boat to be unloaded.
