This was a ” Monster Mango Madness trip”. Even though the Red Snapper bite was slow, these guys certainly made up for it with Gag Grouper and large Mangrove Snapper.
The weather couldn’t of been any more calmer. And a light breeze helped with the heat.
There was plenty of action on deck. The Mangos were flying in the boat as well as the Porgies, Gag and Red Grouper and some sizable Cobias were also boated which brought lots of excitement.
The maximum depths fished was 130 feet of water, and going home with the Gag jackpot was Robert while Centree walked away with his prize for largest Mangrove Snapper.
