Today we celebrated our nations freedom. With that in mind, we scheduled today’s trip as a family oriented excursion. Fishing was pretty good. Lots of Grunts, porgies and many short Red Grouper. A couple of nice keepers were boated.
The trip left at 3:00 Pm. Fishing continued till about 8:00 PM and Captain Jerry then headed towards Clearwater Beach for the firework show. The weather was beautiful and as the Gulfstar made its way back to Tarpon, the fireworks were still lighting up the coastal waterways.
