This ending week of July was the beginning of some record rain fall here in West central Florida.

Despite what was going on rain wise on land, out at sea the word was that there was no rain until the way in. The Sunset was gorgeous as the full moon made its way to the sky.

The tide was ripping as Capt Mitch reported that anchoring up was tricky and the compass went round and round. IMG_3165

The fishing was still pretty good as they worked in depths of 100 -150 feet of water. The Selbys did very well with their variety of snapper. Tim won the largest Mangrove Snapper prize and Centree won the largest Grouper prize.IMG_3173

Some beautiful Red Snapper were boated as well as Mangrove Snapper. Red Grouper, Vermillion Snapper and Porgies!
