Captains Jerry & Mitch reported less than stellar fishing on the Angryfish trip this past week. Plagued by wind, rain and lots of current, the anglers and crew worked real hard for every fish they caught. With gag grouper opening on July 1st, everybody was hoping for awesome gag grouper action. Some of the anglers managed to hook into nice gags up to 25 lbs. and red grouper up to about 10 lbs. We also had the usual mangrove snapper, red porgies, red snapper and a pretty good bunch of nice sized scamp grouper. Some of the anglers fished through the rain and wind for king mackerel and little tunny.
