Capt Jay and 1st Mate Larry report that for a trip that almost didn’t make it out, it was “an amazing day of fishing!” Luckily we met our minimum in the nick of time and our anglers were rewarded with a day of non-stop, elbow bending, CATCHING. Not only did they hit the Key West Grunt payload bringing in more than 300, but a few dozen short Red Grouper, a Lane Snapper and a Black Nose Shark showed up to rumble as well. It was an action packed day of fishing on the steamy hot Gulf of Mexico today!
