Although it was a rainy start to the day, Capt Jay reports the skies finally cleared and the rod bending began. It was a slow start, with a lot of pig fish making an appearance, but the bite steadied as they headed further offshore. Plenty of Black Sea Bass and Red Grouper showed up to wrangle with our anglers but most were returned to the sea undersized and defeated. Fortunately there was plenty of the Key West Grunts to take home and cook up for a delicious dinner.
