Capt Jay reports a slow start to a beautiful day on the water but as the tide rolled out the fishing picked up. The very uncrowded boat of anglers brought in a couple hundred fish including the Key West Snapper grunts and black sea bass, and let go back more than a 1/2 dozen undersized red grouper and a few gag grouper. We can’t wait till they are finally grown and legal! Don’t forget Gag Grouper season opens June 1st, 2017.
