Capt Ron reports that the steady southeast wind cooled everyone down and had no negative affect whatsoever on the fishing today. We were joined on the Sundance II by a group of impressive students from Lutz Preparatory School who were not only well behaved and respectful but also quite the anglers. They had a contest amongst themselves for who caught the most amount of fish. The winner, Anna Gore caught 28 fish, but there were many very close runners up and no losers in the bunch! The group caught in excess of 370 fish including gray snapper grunts, grass porgy’s and sand perch. They also got to wrangle with some undersized gag grouper before throwing them back.

Nice compliments were paid by those not affiliated with the school crowd, with the common sentiment of how wonderful it is to see kids HAPPY!

It was another Great Day of Fishing!
