Today’s trip brought out many eager people! From family reunions to some even taking a sick day from work to go fishing!

They were not disappointed. The weather was on the overcast side and a little too “bumpy” for a few, but it was a productive afternoon of fishing.

We hit Gruntville, with a side of monster Porgies and one beautiful keeper Red Grouper!

A Bunch of throw backs were also caught, as a matter of fact..I got to break in my new AVET reel today, and was lucky enough to catch one of the Gags. woo hoo!

“Judy” hooked the keeper Red Grouper, while fishing just above her were the most adorable set of 5 year old twins (from Maryland)I have ever seen. Their Mom was kept busy with them and their sister who clobbered the Grunt & Porgie population.

Today went by just way too fast. It was so much fun meeting and fishing with these people, I wish the day had never ended. Hats off to Lynn Donald & family…you guys are an amazing bunch!!

The sun FINALLY showed itself on the way in, and we even got a brief show from a family of dolphin too. I would say it was a fantastic day of deep sea fishing with miles of smiles and compliments to prove it 🙂
