The morning started with a haul out to about 60 feet of water. The first stop had a slow bite with Bobby Selby nabbing the first Gag  with a jig. The Grunts or Grey Snapper bite stayed steady throughout the day.

On the 2nd stop is when the Gulfstar and her passengers hit the mother load. One by one the nice size  Gags were flying in the boat. And a few of these Groupers were HUGE!

Eyewitnesses were talking about how the bite seemed to be in one particular areas off the bow.

“It was funny and seemed that the stern was coming out of the water because we were all in the front!”

Most of the gags were caught on this second stop and by the end of the trip. they were two shy of limiting out.

The Grunt, Sea bass, and Porgies were also part of the days catch. There was a Large shark siting and the local dolphins were putting on quiet the show.

Scott and Ron split the jackpot as their monster Grouper  equally weighed in at about 20 lbs. each.

AWESOME CATCH!
