This was one for the record books. The weather was absolutely perfect. The red Snapper were limited out in no time AND the Mutton catch was on fire!
“We caught fish on every stop!” replied one of the departing passengers. Included in the list of fish were, Red Snapper, MONSTER and I stress MONSTER Scamp, Mutton, Mangrove, Cubera & Lane Snapper. Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Black fin Tuna, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Barracuda.
Paul was teased due to his “Tortuga Slam” consisting of a Tiger Shark, Sea Turtle AND an actual dolphin (the flipper kind) He was lassoed somehow in the tail. All of these critters were safely released by the way!
Carlos caught the anchor as well! The only complaint I heard was that everyone’s arms were very tired.
