This was a typical hot August day in Florida. We had a nice bunch of eager fisherman aboard for a fun five hour trip.
Captain Jerry aka: “Best Booty” was the skipper today while James and Mike worked the deck.
The ride out was smooth with a few dolphins jumping in the distance.
In thirty feet of water was where the Gulfstar was fishing. The bite started out slow but as the time progressed, fishing picked up.
Loads of grunt or “Grey Snapper” were boated. Also caught and released were some “short” Red Grouper. Captain Jerry even caught a Gag Grouper using a diamond Jig,
The day ended with a beautiful ride in and a boatload of happy fisherman.
