Today was an incredible day to go fishing. The weather was perfect. Blue skies, plenty of sunshine and calm seas.

The water was still showing signs of mud though from the previous cold front. But the fishing conditions were MUCH better than the day before.

The grunts were enormous in size and there were plenty to go around. Lots of small Red Grouper were caught and thrown back and even a BEAUTIFUL size Gag was boated but sadly had to be released.

There was a birthday “fish off” aboard today. Guys against the gals. But as usual, the girls took the title on this one!

A few dolphins showed up and surprised our out of towners and even a huge Sea Turtle was spotted swimming around the boat.

This was another winning day aboard the Gulfstar.
