There was quite a chop on the Gulf of Mexico as our sold out Middle grounds trip headed out, but following seas made the trip bearable and occasional showers were a welcome relief. The 1st stop set the tone for the trip with constant Gag Grouper Action for most of it and a steady Mango bite to finish it off. The following day saw our anglers picking through all of the Red Snapper again to get to some nice Lane and Yellowtail Snapper, Red and Jolthead Porgy’s and Red and Scamp Grouper. The trip finished up strong for those who stayed awake, with an awesome catch of nice sized Mango and Bee-liner’s.

Jackpot Winners were Rodney’s Mangrove Snapper and Gypsy and Huston’s Gag Groupers were in a tie.

Happy Fishing,

Mary
