Tropical Storm/Hurricane Barry was cooperative and moved west enough for us to get this trip out but it still proved to be a little nautical out there for the Gulfstar and its passengers. While enduring bumpy seas, the 1st night was slow but our anglers did get a nice pick of Mango’s and B-liners as well as a few Tuna. The day bite saw a little calmer wave action and a nice steady bite with lots of Red and Scamp Grouper, Lane Snapper, a few Gags, one slob weighing in at over 30lbs, as well as limiting out quickly then throwing back the American Reds along with some nice AJ’s and Triggerfish. The 2nd night was much like the 1st with more Mango and Vermillon Snapper and a handful of Blackfins.
