With Capt Jerry at the helm and 29 passengers aboard, the Gulfstar headed out into beautiful flat seas. The weather on this trip was very good although when daylight broke it brought with it some wind, but overall the Gulf of Mexico was very nice and calm.

The American Red Snapper bit very well and all of our anglers wrangled in their limits. Along with the ARS we got into a huge school of XL flag Yellowtail, Porgies, Vermillion snappers and a few Lane snappers. This trip we did not find any groupers that wanted to come out and play but that’s ok… coolers were full and customers were satisfied with their catch… we’ll get those Groupers next time! Tight Lines! Capt Garrett
