The ride out as well as most of the trip was a mix of rain and clouds with somewhat choppy but very fishable seas. Anglers dropped there lines around 4 am Tuesday morning and picked off some Mango Snapper, a couple Red Grouper and a nice Kingfish before heading further offshore. Once to deeper waters, anglers caught their Red Snapper bag limit quickly and also found some big Gag and Red Grouper throughout the rest of Tuesday afternoon before heading back to shallower waters. The last night was spent on a hot Mango bite along with some big Vermilion Snapper and a few more Gags. Jeff Camp won the Grouper pool with his Gag, and Jeff’s Mango tied with Richard Pereira for the Snapper pool.
