If the Fishing reports were as good as ours have been recently ALL of the time there may be reason to doubt there accuracy. Well here’s the proof that there is a reason it is called “fishing” and not “catching.”  The winds on this trip were very variable from about 10-20kts throughout the trip. The seas were sloppy and the fishing was slow for most of this trip. We only landed about 20 Red Snapper for the boat but hit a nice bunch 50+ of Yellow-Tail Snapper and a couple dozen Red Porgy’s which will help fill the freezer’s. We try… but they can’t all be Cooler Filler trips!!! Other than that we had a nice group of people on the boat, some laughter and nature put on a show for us. We’ll get em’ next time… Tight Lines! Capt Garrett

Fishing depths were 120-140’
