After the long haul out, Captains James and Jerry got the fishing started early Friday morning with a hot bite until dolphins got the best of them. After a couple of drifts they decided to make a run for it and evade the pesky dolphins. Up until the early afternoon it was a slow pick but time changed everything. The bite picked up nicely with some Queen Snapper, Yellowedge and Scamp Grouper and Tilefish boated until dark. They drifted for Swords overnight and got a couple of bites but no hook-ups. The 2nd day got a little bumpy and bite was slower but some nice Leviathan Snapper, Rosefish, Snowy’s, a longtail Bass and Grey Tiles were steadily wrangled in.
