Captains Mitch and Jerry report very good fishing on the 2013 Red
Snapper season opener. The middle grounds finally came alive this year! The
water temperature warmed up and the fish realized they were hungry. The day
bite was decent with a nice pick of medium sized red snapper and large grouper,
both red and gag. The evening and night bite produced larger red snapper and
lots of mangos. We also got some kingfish and tuna.
