Capt. Dave reports that the sold-out Sundance II was greeted by clear skies and flat calm conditions as it made its approach into the Gulf of Mexico. Grateful to be far from the Holiday mayhem, our anglers enjoyed an afternoon of elbow bending action and beautiful weather. The catch numbers were impressive with more than 450 Key West Grunts, 60+ Black Sea Bass, some Porgies and Sand Perch and a couple of nice Gulf Flounder. There were also  9 Gag Grouper and 2 Red Grouper that didn’t make the size cut that showed up for some wrangling before being returned to the sea.

Happy Fishing!
