Capt. Jay, Mates Larry and Alicia with newbie Devon headed out into the Gulf to be greeted by high seas and beautiful partly cloudy skies. The winds quickly subsided and the waters came down to a light chop just in time for fishing. Thanks to the last couple of cold fronts, the water was stirred up and a little murky slowing the bite down a little. Nice fish were brought in despite the few obstacles including 8 throwback Gag Grouper, 40 Black Sea Bass, a couple dozen Porgies, 2 nice Spanish Mackeral and close to 100 Key West Grunts. Customers said they really enjoyed the day with many compliments to the crew.

Happy Fishing!
