Although breezy, today’s trip saw calm seas and bright beautiful sunshine! Capt. Jeff noted that although the day started out slow, the fishing picked up on the last couple of stops. Of course since they are closed, the gag grouper were abundant and promptly returned back to their  home. Lots of black sea bass and grass porgies today with a sprinkling of sand perch. Sarah and Anthony were in teaching mode today, and young Avery, who was a bit nervous at first, learned well and caught some nice keeper black sea bass and grunts. Other fisherman also commented on the things they learned from our mates today as well as how fantastic at their job they are. So now you know… fishing with us can also be a learning experience!
