Todays trip produced stellar fishing! The seas had a light chop and skies were partly cloudy; very favorable weather. A total of three stops were made with every one filling fish baskets. Anglers caught more Grunts than we have any other half day trip this month! The Black Sea Bass turned up in good numbers as well, but only a few were keeper size. And of course, in true Gag Grouper fashion, a few grabbed a quick bite since it is widely known in the depths below that they are off limits until July. Hopefully they will lose track of time, and will be on the dinner tables of half day fisherman this summer!
